A fairly new wine region, Pemberton’s searching for its site and varietal strengths. This provides a lovely fusion of ripe tropical fruit along with good racy crispness on both the nose and the palate. Pear, spice and melon aromas provide segue to a mid-weight nicely textured stream of fruit flavour with lemon-lime and pineapple to the fore. It cleans up refreshing and tangy, pairing well with pan-seared or grilled fish. (Vic Harradine)
