Aromas of cherry, eucalyptus and cassis provide segue for a medium-full bodied, generously textured surge of palate flavours with passion fruit, pie cherry and black currant to the fore decorated with drying tannin, grilled savoury herbs and excellent tang and acidity. The finish and aftertaste linger with palate-flavour replays. Aerate/decant for two or three hours pouring with grilled beef generously rubbed with seasoned salt. (Vic Harradine)
