This Merlot-predominant blend has a lifted nose of toasty oak and dark briary berry fruit mingling with hints of sweet savoury herb. Mid weight and nicely textured, you’ll find a wash of balanced flavour on the palate with fennel-infused pie cherry and ripe black currant along with an underpinning of supple tannin. Premium fruit sourced primarily from cool-climate areas plus meticulous cellar and winemaking practices coalesce in this beautifully balanced, complex and well-structured Cab. The nose is subtle—floral, spice, toasty oak and berry fruit—the flavours are anything but, with rich succulent Bing cherry, cassis, espresso roast and dark chocolate galore.
