Occhino Moscato d’Asti 2012
DOCG Moscato d’Asti, Italy $19.95 5.5% alcohol
It’s light on its feet with plenty of white peach, poached pear and honeyed apple on the palate and gorgeous, fizzy finish. Low in alcohol—only 5.5% alc./vol.—and high on the delightful scale, pour on its own as a terrific party starter or pair with fruit flan or other fruit desserts. Fashioned for fun and frivolity, this furnishes floral fragrance and frothy fruit flavours. It's good value, as well. (Vic Harradine)
