Hand picked, hand sorted, whole-bunch pressed and ten weeks on the lees, this impresses with an explosion of flavour and a memorable finale of sweet and tang—what’s not to like? Opening with a quiet nose of green apple and pear, it shifts into overdrive on the palate with a tidal wave of lemon citrus, green apple and nuances of slate. Mid weight with good mouth feel, it finishes in a blaze of off-dry, sweet and tang flavour pairing so well with spicy Asian cuisine. (Vic Harradine)
