• The following 2016 LangeTwins Family Winery ‘Estate Grown’ Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from 100% cabernet sauvignon fruit from certified-sustainable estate vineyards near the centre of the Lodi appellation in California. After extended maceration it spent 18 months maturing in predominantly French oak barrels.

Opaque and brooding in the glass, enticing aromas of wood smoke, bramble berry and leather waft easily with a gentle swirl. Palate flavours of ripe black raspberry jam and grilled savory herbs appear on entry with excellent tang and acidity on the back palate providing an interesting juxtaposition and semblance of balance. This is medium-full bodied with good mouthfeel and a balanced and bountiful long finish and aftertaste. (Vic Harradine)
