Pale ruby in colour, this blend—90% Cabernet Franc/10% Cabernet Sauvignon—displays lifted aromas of red currant and raspberry with intriguing perfumed floral, spice and dried herb notes. Medium-bodied and dry with fresh acidity and barely perceptible tannin, the red fruit replays on the palate with hints of tobacco, spice and pepper. There’s good value here. (Lisa Isabelle)
