  Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2008 Marlborough $18.95 (316570) This is a Vintages Essentials product—always available in selected stores. Pungent and herbaceous aromas of nettles and passion fruit leap from the glass. The expressive flavours are an explosion of spice-infused citrus, pineapple and sweet melon. This is well balanced, silky smooth on the palate, and sports a generous level of alcohol—up to 13% from the 11% in 2007. The dry, clean lip-smacking finish lingers luxuriously.
