Another excellent Cuvée Catharine; this is from an outstanding vintage. It’s nothing short of absolutely delicious, dazzling the senses, delivering in spades. When poured, a profusion of mousse unleashes aromas of citrus, piquant spice, and autolytic characters of floral notes, nuttiness and rising bread dough. Small-bead bubbles, bracing lemon curd, green apple and white grapefruit tang prickle and race over the palate infusing the lip-smacking lengthy finish in this lean, mouth-watering beauty.
