With tropical fruit, baking spice and lime-drenched papaya aromas on the nose, this dishes up a tangy river of lime cordial, toasty oak and grapefruit pith—medium weight, nicely balanced and well textured, It finishes in a flourish of mineral notes, racy lemon-lime and notions of white peach. Deep ruby, this wine shows lovely aromas of ripe black cherry and berry, plum, sweet spice, dried herbs and cedar. Dry, medium-full bodied with a lovely velvety texture, there’s great harmony here—polished tannins, fresh texture, earthy character and great depth of ripe fruit touched with notes of spice and dark chocolate.
